Slide 1800 Boron Nitrate Spray

Well, it's here folks! After talking with Slide, a company we found in our own backyard, we are now carrying Slide 1800 Boron Nitrate Spray. This is a high temperature aerosol release primer for metal and clay molds. It is incredibly good for metal molds because you do not need to pre-heat the mold before applying. It dries almost instantly and is good for multiple firings below 1350 degrees F. It can be used on "Color de Verre" and other casting molds also. If you are firing above 1350 degrees F. you should re-coat after each firing.

Amateur Glass Competition (still in the works)

We are in the process of putting together a stained glass competition. This will be for amateurs only, no professionals. A professional staff of artists will judge the entries and there will be prizes for the winners! (For this competition, a professional is defined by those who have a business license and sell their work.) Information will be coming soon!

Warning:

The Surgeon General has found that working in stained glass, fusing, slumping and lampworking can be fun, addictive and habit forming!
