After many long hot summer days Suevel Studios has finally completed The Lane Tech Job. The Chicago Public Schools have been through a long journey in rehabing Lane Tech High School and Suevel Studios got to be a part of this job.
Lane Tech was built during the Great Depression in 1934 and is one of the oldest schools in the City of Chicago. The school is named after Albert G. Lane, a former principal and superintendent and was founded in 1908.
Back in the beginning of this year Suevel Studios had a meeting with Tyler Lane Construction to evaluate and discuss the glass repairs needed. In August, Suevel Studios was given the green light to start the repairs and in one month completed the clock tower project.
The pictures below show the clock tower when brick work started to glass being completed and ready for everyone to enjoy. Thanks Lane Tech it was fun.
