Can I store my project at Suevel Studios?

We have very limited space for the storage of students projects. We are happy to store your project for you while you are actively coming to our studio. However, we would appreciate you taking your project home should you know that you will be absent for an extended period of time. Projects left over 60 (sixty) days will be considered abandoned and disposed of unless alternative arrangements have been made.

What is Studio Time?

We allow customers who have completed specific requirements to use our grinders and other heavy duty tools (band saw, table saw, etc.) but, they must provide their own hand tools. Studio time is run Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM and Thursday evenings 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. It is strongly recommended that you call us prior to visit us to use our studio to insure there is space available.

Who may have Studio Time?

Our students who have completed at least two(2) Beginning Stained Glass classes will be eligible to purchase "Studio Time Cards."

What is a Studio Time Card?

Each card is $40 and is good for eight(8) one-hour sessions. Your 5th and 6th session are on the house for a total of 10 one-hour sessions! If you are already an experienced stained glass maker you may purchase "Studio Time Cards" or pay for studio time by the hour. Our fee is $5 per hour.

Who may enroll in your classes?

Anyone over 18 years of age may enroll. We offer special classes for young adults under 18. See the calendar for when these are offered. However, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Will I need my own hand tools?

Students generally will be required to provide their own hand tools all classes. The only exception is for those taking their very first beginning class. Those repeating a class will be required to provide their own hand tools. All users of Studio Time will be required to provide their own hand tools.

Can I obtain a waiver for a class prerequisite?

These are determined by the instructor for each class. They are at the discretion of the instructor and only the instructor may waive them.

Class Refunds - Can I obtain a refund if I don't attend a class?

We do not refund class tuition fees or deposits. However, we will make every effort to allow you to make up a class if you find you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered.

Can I take a makeup class for a missed class?

We will make every effort to allow you to make up a class if you find you are unable to attend a given session of a class. However, missed sessions must be completed by the end of the year.

I'd like to see a class you don't offer, can you help?

You bet we can! We are always looking for a new class in the glass arts. It could be your enquiry that makes for enough interest to hold class that has your interest. Please feel free to contact us!

Merchandise Refunds - Can I obtain a refund for something I purchased?

Please note that not all merchandise is returnable (see Merchandise that cannot be returned). We accept merchandise returns up to 30 day from the purchase date. Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. An RMA number must accompany all returns.

In addition to the above, eligible merchandise for refund or exchange must have the following:

Should a return be due to an error on our part (what was sent is different from what was on the order) OR if the item is defective in some way, we will pay for return shipping. In the event your purchase was damaged by the shipper, please contact us after reporting the damage to the shipper (more information about shipping damage). Please ask about this when obtaining an RMA number. For all other returns where the merchandise is not defective or by our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping. It is strongly recommended that shipping insurance be purchased for all returns.

Though the following may be returned, due to their unique nature, any of the following items will incur a restocking charge of 15% with a minimum of $20.00: Kilns, Sandblasting Equipment, and Polishing Equipment.

Refunds - You should allow 30 days for a refund to appear on your credit card statement or to receive a check. Refunds are submitted only to the original credit card account that was used for the original purchase. Unless our error, the refund issued will be LESS the initial shipping and handling charges after we have received the return and a product inspection has been done.

Exchanges - Exchanges are typically delivered within two weeks of receiving your return.

Merchandise that cannot be returned

We do not accept returns on books, patterns, videos, software, paints, enamels, chemicals, or special order items. We do not accept returns on any product sold from closeouts, sales or, special promotions.

Though the following may be returned, due to their unique nature, any of the following items will incur a restocking charge of 15% with a minimum of $20.00: Kilns, Sandblasting Equipment, and Polishing Equipment.

How long are Gift Certificates valid?

Gift Certificates are valid for one year past the purchase date. Certificates older than one year have expired and are no longer redeemable.

Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order free of charge when we receive the request prior to the order being processed. Once the order processing starts, a cancellation will incur a fee of $20.00 or 5% which ever is greater. Customers are strongly urged to contact us immediately when they wish to cancel an order.

What about backorders?

We will place a backorder for merchandise not in stock and let you know when it should be available. In rare cases, the price of a backordered item may change. In the event of a price change, we will contact you to ask if you still wish to make the purchase.

Can I pay by check?

You may pay by check drawn from a US bank but, your order may be delayed up to two weeks until the check has cleared the bank.

Product Descriptions

We do our sincere best to describe the products we sell. Measurements are approximate. Colors can are approximate too since computer screens display colors differently. Some colors and patterns, especially of glass, may vary slightly from different production runs. If you have a critical project that needs materials that cannot vary, let us know and we'll prepare your order accordingly. We cannot be responsible for these variances and the unintentional product description but will work with you to help you meet your project needs.

Shipping Methods

We normally ship orders per your selection during checkout. Some methods require a physical address and cannot be shipped to PO boxes. If you have special shipping needs not offered, please contact us. In some cases due to weight considerations, items may need to be shipped via freight. We will contact you in this event. We reserve the right to select the method of shipment.

Shipping and shipping charges

Most orders are processed within one to three business days from receipt. Orders paid by check will not be processed until the check has cleared. Shipping charges are added to your order based on weight and destination and is determined during checkout prior to selection of order payment. Truck shipment is available for larger orders, please call us for details.

Shipping damage, what should I do?

When your product arrives, inspect the packaging for any apparent damage and immediately report it to the delivery driver before accepting delivery. To obtain a replacement, immediate reporting shipping damage to the shipper is required. Any delay may cause problems towards resolution. Please call us and we will help you in obtaining a replacement.

Lost passwords?

We maintain an email list(s) that you may subscribe to receive our newsletter and announcements.
